Quilled Easter Eggs
As promised, here are the most fabulous Easter eggs ever! Well, in my humble opinion. :) I had some blown out egg shells kicking around from some other crafts I used to do, and decided that they should get the royal treatment this year. So, I settled down onto Dave's couch yesterday, surrounded by quilling paper, and came up with these three eggs. We likely won't have time to get through three eggs plus some cards, but these beauties are part of my Quilled Easter Designs class scheduled for April 7th at Bizzy B's. Hope to see you there!

Quilled Mother's Day Card
So, I should be off in Dreamland by now, but I'm still puttering around, trying to put together everything I'll need for my Interactive Cards class at Bizzy B's. I figured that I might as well take a few minutes to post a new picture, and I've decided that tonight it will be a card I've made for Mother's Day. It's still a little way off, but it never hurts to be prepared. This is a fairly simple card . . . I cut a rectangle out of the centre of the card front, and zig-zagged quilled spirals across it. You could add more butterflies or more flowers, but I decided that less is more for me this time. You could also line the inside of the card with white paper to hide any stamping or writing inside. The sample is at BB's and it's part of my Quilled Cards for Mother's Day class (scheduled for April 28).
Keep an eye out for some fantastic Easter designs. I plan to post pics next week . . . Easter eggs like you've never seen before!!

I've been busy of late, but I've set my quilling aside for a bit to create samples for my upcoming interactive card class at Bizzy B's. If you can't make it on Tuesday, February 11, check out the March calendar when it's ready and come down to the store in March to learn how to make these fun interactive cards!

Quilled Banana Split
Here it is -- the quilled banana split I made last weekend! It's probably only about the height of a loonie standing on its edge, but it looks pretty delicious to me!

PaperScapes/Quilled Wedding Cake #2
Hi everyone! So, you're probably wondering about the name change, right? Well, quite simply, I wanted something a little more clever than Paper Arts by Cheryl. I used that name when I created my blog around 4:00 one sleepless morning, and have been trying to think of something better ever since. I thought of several other clever/creative names, but it seems that someone else got there first every time. So, PaperScapes it is!On the weekend I made a fancier quilled wedding cake -- complete with miniature pink roses! I've got another great pic to post (a banana split, suggested by Lara), but it'll have to wait a day or two!
